About Us

STEM Pros founder, Mary Weber Mills, is a multidisciplinary scientist with a background in biomedical research in biochemistry, molecular microbiology, & immunology. Mary has mentored high school students, undergrad students, and trained colleagues how to do experiments, analyze data, and manage the laboratory.

"When I became a parent, I started teaching my children how to have fun while learning STEM, just as my parents did for me. I founded STEM Pros to share that joy with other families. We want children to get hands on experience while having fun learning important concepts in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics."

Our mission is to empower children to learn to love STEM. Currently, our goal is to educate over 1,000 children each year. We are also developing community partnerships with schools and nonprofits to help support more diversity in STEM.
